Employees of Great White North Lotto, its affiliates, and immediate family members of such employees are prohibited from purchasing tickets.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1. Account Creation

You may only open one account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process, including your full legal name, date of birth, and address. We reserve the right to verify this information through third-party databases.

3.2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify Customer Support immediately.

4. Purchasing Lottery Tickets

4.1. Official Tickets

When you purchase a ticket on this Site, you are buying an official entry into a regulated lottery draw. The digital record of your ticket in our central computer system is the only valid proof of your entry. Email confirmations are for record-keeping purposes only and do not constitute a valid ticket if the entry was not recorded in the central system due to technical error.

4.2. Pricing and Payment

All ticket prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We accept payments via major credit cards, debit cards, and Interac e-Transfer. Purchase is not complete until funds have cleared and a Ticket ID has been generated.

4.3. Finality of Purchase

All sales are final. Once a ticket has been purchased and the transaction confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or modified by the player.

5. Draws and Results

Draws are conducted using certified Random Number Generators (RNG) or mechanical draw machines, witnessed by independent auditors. While we make every effort to display accurate results on the Site immediately following a draw, the official results recorded in the central gaming system shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy.

6. Prize Claims and Payouts

6.1. Verification

All prize claims are subject to validation. We reserve the right to require additional identification or proof of eligibility before releasing any funds.

6.2. Payout Thresholds

  • Prizes under $1,000: Will be automatically credited to your Player Account balance. You may withdraw these funds or use them for future purchases.
  • Prizes between $1,000 and $24,999: May require additional identity verification documents uploaded to your profile before the funds are released.
  • Major Prizes ($25,000 and above) & Jackpots: Must be claimed in person or via a specialized secure process. Great White North Lotto will contact you directly to arrange the claim.

6.3. Expiration

Unless otherwise stated in specific game rules, all winning tickets must be claimed within 12 months (1 year) from the draw date. Unclaimed prize money will be redistributed according to provincial regulations.

7. Responsible Play

We are committed to providing a safe gaming environment. We offer the following tools to help you manage your play:

  • Deposit Limits: Set a cap on how much you can deposit daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • Self-Exclusion: You may voluntarily exclude yourself from our services for a period ranging from 6 months to 5 years. This process is irreversible during the selected period.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any winnings:

  3. Using automated scripts, bots, or software to purchase tickets.
  4. Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Site’s operations.
  5. Money laundering or using the Site for any illegal financial activity.

9. Limitation of Liability

Great White North Lotto, its officers, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or technical malfunctions that prevent a ticket purchase.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the specific ticket giving rise to the claim.
